Early this morning two prisoners escaped from the Pitchess detention center in Santa Clarita, CA. Additional information can be found at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s website.
Two male hispanics, one at 5’10″ at 180 lbs, the other at 5’3″ at 180 lbs.
The two might have escaped from the dock area in the morning hours. Santa Clarita Valley residents are told to follow the escape safety protocol on the Sheriff’s page.

From our recollection this type of situation is very rare. We have a hard time remembering the last time someone escaped from the Santa Clarita Pitchess Detention Center. So be assured that when the Sheriff’s catch these guys, they will most likely not be able to do it again.
