In Ventura County the local police force set out on a probation and parole sweep. The efforts netted 21 arrests. We’re not clear yet whether any Ventura County bail bonds will be issued, but rest assure that the Ventura County Main Jail is going to be a busy place for a little while.

The sweep took place on February 4th at 6:00am. The arrests resulted in 20 men and one woman. Almost all of the arrests were narcotic related for people who were either on probation or parole.

The police force contained Ventura County Police Officers, Department of Corrections, California Highway Patrol, and Ventura County Probation Officers. Deputies of other areas were reassigned for the days events and then proceeded back to their normal policing areas.

The sweep took place in areas where there was known gang violence and gang loitering.

It is unknown how many bail bonds were issued this day, but we can say, as a Ventura County Bail Bonds company, that our phones were a little more busy that weekend.
